About

Clan Donnachaidh of the South is a commission of several states.  Among these are Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Not all states are represented by Clan Donnachaidh of the South, however we maintain close ties with all branches in the USA.  Clan Donnachaidh traces it’s origins back to the original Southern Branch of Clan Donnachaidh which was established in 1971 to further ties among Clan members in the Southeastern United States.

Our Values
Leadership: Clan Donnachaidh of the South is founded as a commission.  This arrangement combines the typical Clan structure with a democratic system in which board members and conveners are selected.  To serve as a commissioner is a great honour and carries with it great responsibility.

Teamwork:. While each branch of Clan Donnachaidh is a separate entity, we work closely with one another to help further the knowledge of our Clan among our members and to share in the rich history of one of Scotland’s oldest and most noble families.

Clan Member Relations: At Clan Donnachaidh of the South, our highest priority is satisfied Clan members. You are important to us and you can expect us try our best for you. While we might not hit the mark every time, it is not for a lack of trying.  However, your support is the key to helping us maintain high standards of service.  We are an all volunteer organization and we rely heavily on your assistance, not just financially, but more so in terms of time.
